So, Whats Wrong With Cesar Millan Then?
Many years ago, some of you will remember, there was a trainer called Barbara Woodhouse. She was hugely famous and had several tv shows and a number of books. I have no problem with that per se but the trouble is that such a person becomes the last word on their particular subject unless there are other famous people doing the same thing in a different way. Then there was only Barbara, now there is only Cesar. (There are one or two others on tv now but no-one within a mile of CM’s fame – how many can you name?). I watched Barbara Woodhouse on Blue Peter and then saw one of her programmes and decided that I could never work with dogs as I had a completely different idea of what one’s relationship with a pet animal should be. She was the great expert so obviously I must be wrong, being about 10 at the time, and therefore I’d never make it working with dogs.
