JK: No, no, regular tap shoes. But he has a Tiberium walking stick that he uses to do the ol’ Shuffle Off to Buffalo. No, seriously, I think it’s a fine line — when you’re bringing back a character that has a very loyal fan base, you want to be careful with how much you change that character. There are certain expectations the fans have coming into the game, and the producers were pretty adamant about negating and ignoring some of the canon from previous games, which was very smart. GFW: Canon such as? JK: Such as Kane’s deformity. In Tiberian Sun, we had wanted to give Kane a sort of “Phantom of the Opera” mask and a crushed side of his head that you saw only when you saw him live. When you saw him in video, he would manage to digitize that out so he looked normal. The producers this time, and rightly so I think, have ignored that part of the canon in favor of a healthy, robust, manic, nutso Kane. So, just physically that’s a difference. And also, you can clearly see that I’ve gained
