Snails & Slugs; Management using Beneficial Organisms?
“Pests of the Garden and Small Farm” by Mary Louise Flint (See Appendix B) says, “Snails and slugs have many natural enemies, including ground beetles, pathogens, snakes and birds, but they are rarely effective enough [by themselves] to provide satisfactory control in the garden”`. An other predator worthwile mentioning is the turtle.
