Sleeping Tablets dosage, 30mg of melatonin, 30mg Mirtazapine?
I used to be on Mirtazapine, first 30mg then it was increased to 45mg. Its important to keep in mind that Mirtazapine is an anti-depressant primarily, its sedating effects are a side effects which is very common but not everyone who takes Mirtazapine will feel sedated from it. On the patient information leaflet that comes with Mirtazapine it says approx 1 in 10 people will feel drowsy from it. If Mirtazapine does make you drowsy, it should happen from the first time that you take it. For me, I found it very hard to stay awake about 45 minutes after taking a Mirtazapine dose, I had to get into bed. The good thing about Mirtazapine’s tiredness side effect is that it seems powerful and long lasting in people who do experience it. It only started to wear off me about 18 months after I was on it. As you’re a lot younger (and probably much smaller in size!) than adults who take the drug, there’s more chance it will help you sleep. Hope these tablets help you.
