It involves exposing your skin to allergy causing substances (allergens) and observing the reaction caused. Skin tests are imperative to develop an allergy treatment plan by your doctor. It distinguishes whether your sneezing, coughing and wheezing may be due to an allergy or whether they are the symptoms of some other underlying condition.
