Your supervisor(s) will discuss your GST needs with you at the beginning of your research as part of a Training Needs Analysis (TNA). This assessment of your needs will normally be formally described on the research degree candidature form. It needs to be updated at least annually in line with the university’s strategy for supporting generic skills training (QA7 ).
