Single forest – child domains have transitive trusts: How to monitor for new transitive trusts/disallow them?

In the original campus Forest design, a single root domain with two child domains was created. One child domain was reserved for Campus Exchange services and the other child domain was created for Department OU’s. There are no plans to create additional child domains and departments interested in joining the Campus Forest can do so only by requesting an OU, not a child domain.
