Yes. To determine if the workstation is configured with its own personal firewall, check the following: If the client is using Windows XP, it comes bundled with its own personal firewall. (If you have applied Windows.XP Service Pack 2, then the firewall is enabled by default.) If the workstation comes from a standalone environment and directly plugged in a network environment, users may have already activated this feature. If the workstation has either of the two, resolve this issue by doing either option: Option 1: Disable the Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) all together.
