A possible cause could be that when you upgraded, IE7 changed a Internet connections setting that you previously had in IE6. Here is a possible way to work around this issue: 1. Open IE7>> Tools>> Internet Options 2. Click the Connections tab 3. Click to highlight the first entry under Dialup and Virtual Private Networks settings, then click the Settings button. 4. Place a checkmark in the Automatically detect settings checkbox, then click OK. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all listed Dialup and Virtual Private Networks 6. With the Connections tab still selected, click the LAN Settings button. 7. Place a checkmark in the Automatically detect settings checkbox, then click OK. 8. Close IE7 and restart the browser.
