Adult Education program data is stored on two primary systems: LWIS (Literacy Works information System) and MGETS (Maryland Educational Testing System). Since MSDE has indicted that modules within these systems are shared by other non-transferring MSDE units, DLLR will assign and/or obtain the required hardware and software to manage these applications. As part of this process, DLLR will work with MSDE IT and program personnel to develop a system that can be accessed both internally and externally prior to the date of transfer.
