Since the ILL department is receiving scanned journal articles electronically, can you not forward the document in pdf format to my computer?
According to the amended Copyright Law September 1999 ( http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/C-42/index.html ), if the fair dealing copy is made for a patron of another library, archive or museum, the copy given to the patron must not be in digital form. Any intermediate copy required in order to make the copy for the patron must be destroyed.
