When a girl changes grades, the council will work with the girl and her family to determine the best fit. Girl Scouts of the USA trusts councils, in partnership with families, to assist every girl to have the Girl Scout experience best for her. As a general practice, girls say it is important to be with their “social peers”—groups that share the same developmental characteristics.
