Since my printer already has an ICC profile, why do I still need Focoltone ICCS to calibrate my printer?
Although your printer already has an ICC profile, there is currently a lack of verification to ensure that your printer’s ICC profile is correct for achieving accurate color output. The ICC profile is a printer’s color characteristics, which is inherently affected by multiple environmental factors, changing the accuracy of the CMYK color output. The ICC profile provided by the manufacturer with your printer will just adjust your printer to the standard or “zero” the printer.
