For purposes of calculating timely filing, HSD and ACS have taken into account that electronic claims have to go through the translator prior to being received by ACS. Providers can be assured that if their electronic claims are submitted to HSD within the filing limits, ACS will recognize this when the claims are processed and adjudicated. Always submit claims promptly to avoid missing filing limits.
