Since God knows everything we’re going to do and say, what is the point of being put in this world?
God did an amazing thing when he made us. He gave us free will. Free will gives us the ability to choose to have a relationship with God or not. We can choose to do good things or bad. Why is our choice important? It determines how much we grow in character in this world. It determines where we are going to spend eternity. It determines the joy or lack of joy we have in our daily life. It determines how much we will show Christ or not show Christ to the people around us. But no matter what we choose, nothing can keep God from accomplishing his will in the world. Ultimately, he has the power to do what he knows is best. We call this God’s sovereignty. And we can trust him with this ultimate power completely because of the nature of his character.
