The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) requires that students complete at least one local Scientific Inquiry performance assessment per year for grades 3 – 8 and at least once in high school. Districts may score Scientific Inquiry local performance assessments using either the official Scientific Inquiry scoring guide provided by ODE or comparable measures adopted by the district.
