SimEnhancer Version 1.6.1 updates?
Version 1.6.1 adds *.cmx validation checking to SimEnhancer. Basically this is the validation portion of the CMX Validation program. This is done to prevent SimEnhancer from assigning skins to a character that are obviously bad and will cause game crashes. This amounts to two different tests. First it verifies that the name of the file both internally and externally match. This is a known problem that causes game crashes if it is not correct. (This is easy to correct since the name inside just needs to be changed to match the actual filename) Second it checks any *.skn files listed in the *.cmx to be sure they actually exist. This also is a know problem that crashes games. It is not as easy to correct since this is often just a typographical error when editing the *.cmx file. To correct it requires locating the correct filename and editing the file to match. The CMX Validation program can often find suitable corrections for both.
