Silver or white fillings?
For the vast majority of patients needing a filling, Dr. Wender uses a tooth colored “white” composite filling material. There are times when a patient requests that their amalgam “silver” filling(s) be replaced with white filling(s). This is definitely something Dr. Wender will do for his patients, with the understanding, that if it is done for cosmetic reasons or because of concerns related to mercury, it will probably not be covered by your dental insurance.
