side effects of Plan B – how long do they last?
Question: I’ve had nausea and stomach cramps for the last few days and took plan B on Tuesday (it’s now Friday). Is this normal for the side effects to last this long or could there be something else going on as well? Is this morning sickness?! I am also very nervous about the possibility of being pregnant so am not sure if some of these symptoms might just be nerves. Answer: Side effects associated with the use of ECPs usually taper off within a day or two. What you are experiencing doesn’t sound like morning sickness. Nausea and stomach cramps can also be caused by many other factors, such as dietary factors, as well as stress/nerves. If your symptoms haven’t improved significantly by tomorrow (Saturday), you should consult your health care provider.
