Sick puppy, help! (boston terrier)?

Please bring him to the vet, the only home thing you could do is go to the vet get him medicine and give it to him, I know you don’t want to spend the money but if you want your puppy to live it has something wrong with it it would be best to bring him to the vet!

No home remedies – take him and a stool sample to the vet right away, before he dies. Puppies go fast, and there is nothing you want to ‘try’ on him – you want to have him diagnosed accurately and treated for whatever his problem is – there’s not much to him, so there’s not that much between a puppy and no puppy. Go NOW.

A puppy that young is too small to fool around with. Go to the vet.

Try calling your vet to ask about some foods you can give him, or some stuff to mix in his foods. Our bossy had the same problem when she was a puppy, it was just a growing stage, but some change in food could help a little.

To start with, I agree with the people above, you should not take a chance with a puppy, especially a small breed like a bt, there isn’t much of them……take him to a vet! But if you’re in a situation where you absolutely can’t there here is some advice: Firstly keep a close eye on him, if he shows any signs of dehyration or lethargy take him immediately to the vet. (ie Check his gums, they should be a nice pinky color, not pale white, he should come to you not just lay there, and he should eat his food). If you fail to do this he may die 🙁 Next, if he appears healthy and happy and all you notice is the occasional weird stool then there a few things to try: It could be a food allergy, stop feeding him between meals, no snacks off your plates, scraps, left-overs, you said it only occasionally he has the weird poop, so it’s probably not his main food. See if this fixes things. Failing that you could try an elemination diet, change him to nothing but boiled rice and chicken for a week
