• This Task Force is currently studying the issue of adequate counsel for criminal defendants on direct appeal, not counsel for inmates in post-conviction litigation. In any event, SJR 14 will not prevent the Task Force from considering and recommending improvements to the Post-Conviction Remedies Act; it will merely require our courts to follow them.
