Shouldn we show reverence to the Fathers Name by saying Adonai or ha Shem?
When people fail to call upon the Name of YAHUAH they are in fact disregarding the very command YAH gave directly to the people at Mt. Sinai: ” You do not bring the Name of YAHUAH your Elohim to naught, for YAHUAH does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught,” Shemoth/Exodus 20:7 The Hebrew word lashav, commonly translated as “in vain” actually includes a much wider meaning: destruction, ruin, uselessness, waste. Lashav stems from the root word shoah meaning: devastation, destruction, wasteness. In the Hebrew language branch words also include the meanings of their root words. Therefore, to limit the translation to “in vain” robs the reader of the full picture of YAH’s Word. In fact, throughout the entire Scriptures we see that YAH’s chosen people were continuously calling upon His Name.
