Should you buy a core 2 duo or a dual core processor as a graphic designer?
My home system is for both playing games and doing work, and I find it quite adequate. Quad core 2.4ghz, 4 gig ram, 8800GTS video card, and a solid middle range motherboard, all for about $2000 AUD a year ago, and it handles most of the stuff I throw at it. It’s only when doing posters at full 300ppi that I start to think about upgrading.
