Should women go to war?
The question itself is so subjective and therefore difficult to find a common answer to. The way each of us is brought up by our families, and the society we grow up in, all influence the way we might feel about this question and everything else we think about in life. Then there are the people we meet and our experiences which will also effect and modify our opinions. Over time the attitudes, particularly of Western society, regarding the roles of women have changed and because of the factors above and our own characters people will each think about this matter differently, particularly if they are from different generations. In many ways your own cultural and political conditioning influence your opinion, even if you don’t realise it. I have served with women and some have reinforced my admittedly old fashioned beliefs, while others have made me seriously question why I think and feel the way I do. In the end I can only conclude that some people are of the type that wish to serve in
