Should women drivers be allowed to drive cars and vote?
Jake 159 has it slightly wrong. A woman could learn to drive a motorcycle and believe it or not an aeroplane (although that would not be driving but flying) before she is allowed to drive a car. My wife was a superb driver, much better than myself, and always voted when the occasion arose. So there is no doubt in my mind. It is a bit of a leading question, however, because in my experience it is the individual who is either good or bad as a driver irrespective of gender. Who are you talking about when you say ‘be allowed’ – who or what is it that is doing the ‘allowing’. Wakey, wakey ‘wind up kid’, feminus majoritus.
