Most hams and ham radio organizations do not encourage deliberate interference from Amateurs to BPL systems. It does not put Amateurs in a good light and doesn’t win public support. Unintentional ingress interference will naturally occur due to the construction of power lines and the areas that BPL equipped powerlines typically cover (streets in suburban areas.
