Should we not eat food during a solar eclips?
Superstitious community particularly in India avoids any sort of food during eclips saying that they are contaminated and are therefore harmful. But my question is how long the spell of contamination remains as I have found the same superstitious people taking food immediately after the eclips. Eclips superstitions differ in different part of the world. Thanks to Sceince. People are knowledgeble and are discarding such practices and ideas. But in India, we are still rooted deep with these baseless ideas even though we have sent rockets in orbits. When shall we learn that the base of this baseless logic is false – “Rahu devouring the Ketu”.
