Should we have a communications test to measure intellect instead of IQ tests?
1) No. IQ tests are supposed to measure the intelligence quotient (what they actually measure is a matter of controversy, and would depend on the specific test). 2) Psychologists already have some possibilities to evaluate the communication skills of a person, either for the diagnosis of psychological problems, or for educational assessment. There are also some tests for job interviews.
