Should we get rich or die trying to save the poor?
Oh, boy. Bill Moyers Journal is on my PBS station right now talking about how the gap between rich and poor has been growing for 30 years. It’s now at the point it was back in the 20’s right before the depression. I watched ten minutes of it and had to turn it off, I was getting so disgusted(not with Mr. Moyers). After finding out that some of the CEO’s of Americas top companies had made it so that their heirs would get millions more dollars from companies in case of the CEO’s death while still working for them. I turned instead to Wild America and watched the mating habits of birds. I realize that this in no way answers your question so I’ll try with this statement: As a person who tries to put others ahead of myself, I’d prefer to die while trying to save the poor. That way maybe their kids milk wouldn’t get watered down so much in an attempt to make it last longer. I’d also walk away from a food pantry if I noticed that most everyone else in the line appeared to be worse off than I
