Should we fly the AMERICAN FLAG UPSIDE DOWN?
As a former Boy scout and a US veteran…….I can tell you, that flying a flag upside down means YOU , personally, are in distress. Anyone who knows what the true meaning of an upside down flag is……..will think YOU need help. I doubt they will “get” that you are making a political statement. For the record…….I absolutley AGREE with you. This country IS in alot of distress. 8 years of disasterous policies, inept govt agencies, squandered international good will after 9-11….. staggering debt following an ill conceived and poorly executed needless war on an imaginary boogeyman, who wasn’t threatening us, didn’t have any weapons. and wasn’t going anywhere……..but we bomb his sorry a** anyway, because we got caught with our pants down on 9-11……..and since we can’t find the guy that DID attack us………what the heck………let’s pick on the guy we CAN find…….. no one will shed any tears over HIM. Yes, that much was right…….no one cried for Saddam. He was one foul
