Should we cattle-prod the British bone idle into finding a job?
I asked a question right now whether you, or any of the psychopaths who frequent News & Events are actually offering them a job. If not, kindly shut up, and leave any cattle prodding to those employers prepared to give them an opening. Yes, they will be unfit and their minds probably as flabby as their bodies, but any employer prepared to make the effort to lick them into shape and make them productive members of society deserves a hell of a lot more respect than those who do well for themselves but are prepared to let the devil take those who, for whatever reason, have fallen behind.
There are actually more unemployed people in the UK than vacancies, you can see this at our UK Government Statistics site, let’s hope that if you lose your job through no fault of your own you will get equally compassionate and creative ideas about how to get yourself back on your feet from the YA posters.
