Should we brace ourselves for loads of Michael Jackson questions today?
Yes, and I bet that many of those who condemned and biased him will now scream the opposite. Michael was THE superstar when I was a teenager, we all freaked out about his music and no dance-floor was hit without him. He had an amazing career, certainly not an easy life despite his riches. He certainly was a weird character but he is a tremendous loss to the world. As for the investigations against him: I find it deeply concerning that the world condemned him for something that never proved. How come that, had he committed these crimes, they never found evidence? Not even when they invaded his home in the wee hours and booked him and he never had time to get rid of any evidence, they did not find anything. He was both infantile and adult and I bet he didn’t know himself what exactly he was. But destroying him with such serious rumours is very worrying. I studied law and the first thing we’ve been hammered into our heads was: In dubio pro re. This is the oath of Hippocrates for lawyers.
