Should we be recording one change event when an extended payment is awarded, and then another when the customer moves into in-work HB/CTB?

A. A decision is needed to award the extended payment. A further change event decision would be required when the customer moves onto in-work HB/CTB, or the claim is terminated. Q. As we are having to re-calculate all claims with maintenance paid for children to take into account regulation changes, should these be taken into account for purposes of the right time indicator. If so, which change source in field 254 of the single HB extract should be used? A. Yes these changes should be counted towards the right time indicator. Please use change source 99 (other) in field 254 as the re-calculation of claims has come about as a result of regulation/policy changes rather than as a result of an LA being proactive.
