Water Hardness is caused by water that contains Calcium therefore Chlorine that also contains Calcium only adds to Water Hardness. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is from dust, dirt, metals, minerals and debris that remains Suspended in the water. One of the Many Benefits from AquaSmarter is from the Ionization Properties that is generated from ChlorFree as Ionization Magnetically ‘Coagulates’ (attract) this suspended/dissolved material and Precipitates it to the bottom of the Tank, Well or Pool.
