Two leading advocates for dying with dignity will be in Perth Saturday November 6 to make dying with dignity a real possibility for people in Western Australia. Oncologist Professor Jan Bernheim of Belgium and Neil Francis, chairman and CEO of YourLastRight.com, Australia’s new national dying with dignity and voluntary euthanasia alliance, will be among the presenters at a public panel on the issues of palliative care and voluntary euthanasia from 2pm to 5pm Friday at State Library of Western Australia theatre. Fellow speakers include local expert Will Hallahan of Palliative Care WA. The forum is co-sponsored by WAVES, the West Australian Voluntary Euthanasia Society and will be chaired by UWA Extension.
