Should violent movies be banned?
It wouldn’t be constitutional to ban violent movies. Movies are a form of art and and are freedom of speech and expression. There are conflicting studies on whether there are long term effects only the psychological development of children who watch movies with graphic violence, though there are inevitable effects. To me, parents should be monitoring, as much as possible, what their children watch, and that’s what rating systems are for. A lot of parents let their kids watch whatever they want, and they shouldn’t be allowed to see such movies until they are old enough to process it. Adults should be free to watch whatever movies they choose, and can also choose not to watch them if they don’t want to. It’s not like anyone makes someone watch it, and there are blocks on televisions to keep inappropriate material from entering someone’s home. I don’t think banning violence in movies would fly as a policy.
yea like i want to kill u cause of the movies i watch y dont u grow up\ on second thought wait a year then ban them in this year i will make copys of every movie and once there banned sell them for 50 bucks a pop and eventually I WILL RULE THE WORLD MOOOOOHAHAHAHAHA government tried the same thing with prohibition howd that turn out???????/
