I think drinking age laws are based on bad logic. Any time you restrict something like alcohol, you turn it into a “forbidden fruit.” That means as soon as someone first gets access to alcohol, they are more likely to abuse it and get involved in a DUI. Many foreign countries have no drinking age. Children learn from an early age how to use alcohol responsibly, and that’s what I would support. As with most things, it’s shouldn’t be an age issue. It should be a maturity issue.
