Should training be held concurrently with the final data conversion effort?

In my opinion — yes. And this is something Lupine been able to accomplish a large number of times over the years. There are two goals: One, to maximize resource usage the people doing the data conversion are not the same as the ones who are leading the training effort, so you can have simultaneous efforts. Two, to reduce the amount of time that end users forget what they were trained in. Ideally the system users go to training, get out of training, and then go live with the new software package. If they go right into using the system (and not go back to the original, old system) then everything they learned is fresh.
