Should there be minimum educational qualification for political leaders?
Yes, but not in the traditional sense. They should know what it means to live in a ghetto, to be poor, to struggle paying the bills for years on end, have their car break down all the time, have their house be repossesed, be homeless for a minimum of 4 years with little children and being a single parent at the same time. Or they could own a business and lose it when Walmart comes to town and they lose everyhting.They should lose their pension like the people who worked for Enron, they should be comfortable for a while and lose everything again. They’d be less apt to judge others and claim to know what’s best for everyone without having lived a real life. I won’t vote for anyone who hasn’t got a hand on the pulse of the people in this country, it’s no wonder they only help their friends get richer, they are the only ones they can identify with.
