Should there be a limit on the number of children an American can have?
I think if you can support the children, you should have as many as you want. However, I would not be opposed to some sort of parental education or even licensing, because every day in the news you learn of horrible acts of child abuse and neglect. You need a license to drive a car or own a dog; there should be more qualifications for parenthood other than properly functioning reproductive organs. And, sorry, but people should not be financially rewarded with increased benefits for having children they cannot support. Ritch, I was totally with you until you dragged the liberal/conservative stuff into it. I found your viewpoint quite liberal.
