Should there be a law requiring paparazzi to stay away from celebrities private lives?
The problem of celebrities’ being chased in their cars by paparazzi is one that truly should not be disregarded. This practice is dangerous for all involved, including the public. Part of being celebrity is media attention. Celebrities are known to have the media called when they are headed to one place or another. They use the media, and the media uses them. It’s all part of the deal. Sometimes, though, a celebrity is someone like Britney Spears, who was a child when she was swept up in celebrity; who did not get the chance to go through the normal process of maturing (either through celebrity, itself, or through the use of substances that hinder the process of emotional maturation); and who were faced with dealing with that all-that-glitters world of fame.
