Should the wedding dress reflect the brides personality or her body type?
Allyson: I base it off of personality. When I look at a bride, I don’t see her faults. I don’t see if she is heavier in one area or the other. To me, she’s beautiful and the dress needs to be based on her personality. It comes out from inside. Allyson, where do you get the ideas for your designs? Amir: From me. No, I’m just kidding. Allyson: For the ball gowns, I got my ideas when I was in Paris. But with the destination, sexy collection, I really was inspired by Amir because I think he’s a sexy man. I thought of this very sexy line that men would absolutely adore on their new bride. I thought of what parts of the body they would want to see. Is there a rule brides should remember when they are picking out a dress? Allyson: I think the No. 1 rule is listen to yourself. Don’t listen to so many influences.
