(Sigh) We do not have an open door immigration policy. Please learn something about it first. http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/lawandp… I understand why some people may think we do, but we do not. As noted above, if we did have an open door immigration policy, there would be no asylum seekers, as they would just move here to work instead. Those from non-EU countries need work permits to earn money here. Just ask any American, Australian etc who works here and they will tell you the same.
