SHOULD THE UK BAN VISAS FOR PAKISTAN STUDENTS TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE OF BRITAIN?
How about, because very few students from Pakistan, if any, are actively involved in terrorism? Can anyone actually show an example of a student from Pakistan being convicted of a terrorist offence in this country? The 7/7 bombers were all British citizens, and only one, Germaine Lindsay, was not born in UK (he was born in Jamaica). The overseas born men convicted after the failed 21/7 bombings were from Somalia, Eritrea and Ghana. The participants in the Glasgow Airport attack were Bilal Abdulah, born in UK, and Kafil Ahmed, born in India. Now, explain again why we should ban Pakistani students? We could, but it would be yet another example of an action taken by this government, which would have no effect, but would look like they were doing something, and might appease a few racists. EDIT: Correct, I did not fully answer your whole question. But since you specifically mention Pakistan in the main heading part of the question, I thought it fair to address that. Your concern is the saf
No they shouldn’t. I dont have any idea how many Pakistani students have paid to study here, completed their studies and have left, both supporting the universities in the UK and improving their own economy. Other than the 10 that have been arrested I have no idea how many are here currently. However what is clear, is that more checks need to be made into both the background of these students and also where and who they will be studying with.
