There seem to be two scenarios that can play out over the next 30 games or so. The Suns can keep playing how they are by playing a 7-8 man rotation and probably win about 85-90% of their games; or The Suns can start resting their star players a bit more with the plan that they want to see if their reserves (meaning James Jones, Jumaine Jones, Jalen Rose and Marcus Banks) can pick up the pace and provide a better jump-start off the bench come playoff time. I voted for the first option after I put up the poll. Home-court advantage is huge in the Western Conference and getting second place in the conference as opposed to first could mean facing the Lakers/Utah/Spurs in the second round as opposed to the Nuggets or Timberwolves. That’s a scary proposition – at least for me. It’s not that I don’t think the Suns can’t beat any of those teams in a 7-game series.
