Should the rumors about Megan Fox as Catwoman really come true?
Megan Fox might have clawed her way into the next “Batman” film. The “Transformers” star has reportedly landed the role of Catwoman in the sequel to “The Dark Knight,” according to British tabloid The Sun. If it’s true, she’ll have big paws to fill. Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry have both squeezed into the catsuit for the most recent big-screen incarnations of the DC Comics character. Catwoman’s alter ego Selina Kyle was originally portrayed as a supervillain, but more recent interpretations depict her as a possible love interest for Batman. Fox certainly has the slinky, sultry looks to play a feline-inspired character, but does she have the presence? Production on the third film in the latest “Batman” franchise begins next year. There has been talk that Megan Fox will be playing Catwoman in the “Batman 3” movie. A British newspaper is reporting that the “Transformer” star Megan Fox may be playing the role of Seline Kyle, aka Catwoman, in the “Batman 3” movie. Fox was the perfect person for the part. She looks like she can be “catty.” She just has that special Catwoman look in her eyes. Fox is allegedly set to follow Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer by wearing the leather suit. Fox currently played a man eating zombie in “Jennifer’s Body,” which hits the theater Sept. 18. This film should keep us entertained until the “Batman 3” movie comes out. Fox will be working alongside actors Christian Bale and Michael Caine and director Christopher Nolan. Bale and Caine also played in “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight.” The newest installment is reportedly supposed to start shooting next year. The film won’t be released until 2011 according to reports.
There are quite a number of rumors that are speculating that Megan Fox is actually inches away from a new role. That role is the part of Catwoman in the next Batman film. Many fans will continue to hope that it’s true. Sources: Examiner.
