ETS’s Recognition of Excellence Program honors outstanding individual performance on Praxis content tests. The ROE is intended as a professional honor for teacher candidates — similar to the Dean’s list in college. It is not a substitute for passing scores used in teacher licensure decisions nor should it be used as a criterion in hiring decisions.
