Should the result of the Nagpur Test match be investigated for possible match fixing?

I think it was just down to Ponting trying to avoid a fine for a slow over rate (which he failed to do and subsequently got his match fee reduced by 20%). Therefore some of Ponting’s decisions only looked suspect in the sense that he used the wrong bowlers at the wrong time. His quicks could have made in-roads but he chose to rush through with spin. It was a poor decision by Ponting and probably not the only one he made over the series, he panicked and it showed. I think if anything during this series needs to be looked at then it’s the incident involving one of the Aussie bowlers picking bits of leather off the ball.
