Should the Professional Standards Department of the Police be abolished?

The IPCC is a wrong answer to a simple question of what should be done when we think we’ve ill treated by the Police, but then what are the alternatives.Open policing is as possible as open government. To many secrets,to much deceit, information kept hush hush for the common/Commons good.Do you think a new body should be set up to oversee the overseers where would that end. I liked the senior police officer who thought anarchy wasn’t such a bad idea.it was refreshing to see someone who has seen the worst of mankind believing that we are fundamentally good, such gives me hope for a brighter future.
