Should the pledge of allegiance follow “one nation under God” with “…and screw the rest of the world.”?
what gets me is … the country is based on (a) GOD and the things we celebrate, for the most part are based on that “GOD” (Christmas, Easter, Good Friday) but because people CHOOSE to come to other countries, we are being made to change. I believe we should celebrate everyone religious needsbut don’t change mine to fit into yours. It is Merry Christmas, Not Happy Holiday or Season Greetings!
When you pledge your loyalty to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands as one nation under God, and indivisible, with liberty and justice for all Americans, you are saying that you will be loyal to the flag and all it stands for. The rest of the world does the same thing. We should be united to defending our own first. Helping our own first. Taking care of our own first. Not illeagles who are in our country. This country is being divided from the inside by politicians who do not have the good of the country at heart. Too bad many people do not care and will vote for them anyway. Then be upset when their person gets in and does all the wrong things, but says it is for their own good.
